Performa invoice ensures that the seller gets payment for the products sold. For that reason performa invoice is sent before the delivery of products and it’s signed between parties before they proceed further.
Performa invoice can be in shape of an estimated invoice and it can be a confirmed purchase order. When performa invoice is signed or payment is made by the purchaser on the bases of that then the seller ships the products to the purchaser accordingly.
