The bill of sale can be likened to a contract to sell
The bill of sale can be likened to a contract to sell undertaken by an individual selling assets or goods for a definite sum to a named buyer containing the description, model, indentifying serial numbers and features of the assets. An example is a vehicle or a parcel of land.
Usually, a vehicle that is the subject of a Bill of Sale is used and sold in “as is” basis, without any expressed or implied guarantee or warranty. The complete name, address, and contact information of the seller and the buyer are generally included in a bill of sale.
